The original article titled “Evaluation of various culture techniques for identification of hookworm species from stool samples of children”, published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, on pages 539-543, Issue 4, Volume 149, 2019[1], is a duplicate publication by the same authors, of an article titled “Comparative evaluation of Harada–Mori and agar plate culture for the identification of hookworm species under limited resources”, published in the Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine, on pages 127-131, Issue 2, Volume 9, 2018[2]. Plagiarism, unethical publication or redundant publication violate the editorial policy of the Indian Journal of Medical Research, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned under the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
